The Way Methodology

Our proprietary methodology—which begins with a nuanced assessment, builds with customized learning and development, and is measured then refined—is The Way to workplace wellness. This proven approach equips leaders with the skills and confidence to ensure all people are seen, respected, valued, and protected in your workplace, which, in turn, unlocks employee contribution and improves your business outcomes.

The Four Talent Needs

Our research shows that although each employee has unique motivations and aspirations, all employees hold four basic workplace needs in common:  to be seen, to be respected, to be valued, and to be protected. Yet, for various reasons, not all employees get these needs met to the same degree. Through experiential learning, practical tools, and talent systems integration, The Waymakers Change Group helps leaders better meet these four workplace needs for all people, which helps close the contribution gap and positively impact business outcomes.

VISIBILITY

acknowledges and represents all people, while considering their potential to positively impact business outcomes.

RESPECT

invites all people to contribute to business outcomes, and trusts and leverages those contributions.

VALUE

appreciates and rewards all people’s contributions to business outcomes, and provides equal opportunity to learn, grow, and advance.

PROTECTION

supports all people’s desire to contribute to business outcomes, and nurtures spaces that unleash and enable their contribution.
